If you are interested to see places that even the local people have never seen before, join this trip through the diverse and unknown Lesvos.
We start with a cup of coffee in restaurant Alonia in Molyvos, around 9 o'clock we will leave. We will immediately go off-road to go to Petra. From there we will head towards the farmervillage Agia Paraskevi where we will have a coffee break. On the way we will go through forests of pine- and olive trees, we will visit the ruins of the Turkish village Klapados and the bridge of Kremasti, the oldest bridge of Lesvos, built in the Medieval times. Hopefully we will also see some wildlife on the way.
After Agia Paraskevi we will visit the ruin of an old basilica and after that we will really be in the middle of nowhere! The trip continues through a special piece of nature with lots of different kind of landscapes: pine trees, rockey areas, "The Lesvos Africa Plain" with wild horses and turtles, fields with flowers (springtime), small land roads and last but not least nice rocky roads. Alle these roads will bring you up to a nice small beach in Pedi. Here there is time to swim and to have lunch in te small taverna.
After this break we will continue our way tothe fisherman village Skala Sikaminia. You will return to Molivos by the beautiful Northern Coast Road, where we will arrive around 18 o'clock.
